The AI2 Platform will enable the “Semiconductor as a Service” model, a first in Brazil and worldwide! It will enable the provision of semiconductors as cloud-based services in a standardized and interoperable manner.
This initiative, led by the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MCTI), is led by the von Braun Advanced Research Center and the Softex Campinas Center, under the coordination of Softex. It will enable the integration, standardization, and availability of semiconductor device data for sale in a data marketplace environment.
During the event, an agreement was signed to launch the AI2 platform. The event featured Diones Lima, Executive Vice President of Softex; Edvar Pera Junior, Executive Director of the Softex Campinas Center; Hamilton José Mendes da Silva, Director of Incentives for Digital Technologies; and Dario Sassi Thober, President of the Wernher von Braun Center for Advanced Research.
